The total cost is for one of two students producing wine at the winery. Observers are allowed for $25 per person for up to 6 observers. The class, start to finish is 9 weeks with a maximum of 15 hours of student-instructor contact time at the winery. You will select a varietal white or red wine juice and over 9 weeks, you will convert your juice into wine. You will make 30 +/- bottles of wine that you take home. You will enjoy tasting wine and food at each class. At the completion of this class, you will have the knowledge and confidence to continue making your own wine in the convenience of your home or here at the winery. At the end of this class, all students (not including observers) will qualify for student discounts for 6 months on all products that you desire to purchase from the Bacchus Winery retail area including juice kits, wine making hardware, and other items.
