Introduction to Making Your WIne, Your Way
This beginner level class provides a hands on introduction to home winemaking with some perspectives on the history, geography, biology, chemistry and psychology of wine. Call for cost, The total cost is for two students teamed together to produce wine at the winery. Additional participants can join as observers for $25 per person for up to 6 observers. The class, start to finish is seven weeks with a maximum of 15 hours of student-instructor contact time at the winery. You will select a varietal white or red wine juice and over six weeks, you will convert your juice into wine. You will make 30 +/- bottles of wine that you take home. You will enjoy two varieties of wine at each class. At the completion of this class, you will have the knowledge and confidence to continue making your own wine in the convenience of your home or here at the winery. At the end of this class, all students (not including observers) will qualify for student discounts for six months on all products that you desire to purchase from the Bacchus Winery retail area including juice kits, wine making hardware, and other items. Non-refundable deposit holds your space in class.
